A lovely family holiday home in the heart of the New Forest, Pound House is situated in the popular village of Burley and is an ideal destination for your family holiday. With spacious and flexible accommodation, the property is perfect for a family gathering. The open plan kitchen/diner provides excellent entertaining space, with a large table seating up to 16, and the cosy lounge area leads into a bright garden room. Five bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for up to ten guests in this wonderful forest location. Just a short stroll from Pound House takes you into Burley village centre, with two pubs, The Queens Head and The Burley Inn, both serving food and an array of quirky shops, including Shappen village stores incorporating a butchers and green grocers. The market town of Ringwood is a 15 minute drive from Burley with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and there is a weekly market selling general wares. With regret the owner will not accept single sex groups.
Pound House does feature an outdoor pool that is covered in the grounds however regrettably this is no longer for guests use. When booking Pound House you must conform with the following house rules:
Signage: There is signage located within the premises regarding noise in the garden. You are asked to familiarise yourself with this and abide by its requirements.
Music: Music in the garden is not permitted. Sound travels very easily and music can constitute a disturbance, even from a distance.
Other Matters: Neighbours in close proximity to the property have been provided with a contact number in the event that they are disturbed by noise from the house or garden.
In the unlikely event that a complaint about noise is received, you will be contacted by telephone or in person and asked to keep noise to a minimum. We thank you in advance for your co-operation.
